Why we might have emailed you

If you got a note from us, your business is listed in a public registry or directory — a license list, a certification registry — and we wanted to ask about your week. Our questions are about how you already work: how jobs get booked, how customers come back around, what eats your time, what you've tried that didn't stick.

We're not selling anything. There's no pitch coming at the end. A real person reads every reply.

We pay for your time

Some conversations turn into a real interview — 30 minutes, on your schedule, phone is fine. We pay $50 for that time. And if you point us to someone else who ends up doing an interview, we pay you $20 for each one.

What we do with what we learn

We write up what we learn about how businesses really run — the patterns behind scheduling, repeat customers, and getting paid. When something someone tells us suggests a small tool would genuinely help them, we sometimes build one and give it to them. Free, theirs to keep, no strings.
